This endearing couple met while the bride was walking her dog in her apartment complex. The Groom just happened to be living in the same apartments walking outside and noticed the work clothes she was wearing, asking if she also works for the Police Department. (She is a Victims Services Counselor for APD and he works as an Officer) This particular ‘meet cute’ (because let’s face it…this has the makings of any good romantic comedy) lead to them dating and eventually, getting engaged. They chose to get married on New Year’s Eve inside the fabulous Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt downtown in the heart of Austin’s most notorious district, Rainey Street. The ceremony was short and sweet followed by a fun filled night of dancing, fireworks, a fabulous buffet and even a countdown to midnight with balloons and champagne! A great way to kick off the start of a wonderful life together :)
